Claire Willis

Claire qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2018 and has worked at Taverham Veterinary Hospital ever since! Her main interests are Emergency and Critical Care and Soft Tissue Surgery (including keyhole surgery) and she has obtained her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice having focused her studies in these areas.

She therefore splits her time between out of hours emergency work for Norwich Night Vet alongside her day shifts at the hospital.

Claire also loves teaching and works alongside Sophie as a new graduate supervisor and also organises all our staff wellbeing social events throughout the year. In her spare time Claire runs the Norwich branch of the charity StreetVet, providing veterinary care to homeless and vulnerably housed pets in the area.

Outside of work Claire shares her home with Border Collie Mollie and 3 ¾ cats! She enjoys travelling and city breaks, any kind of creative/crafty activity and theatre and festival going!
