Covid-19 update: Client advice on what to do during the Coronavirus crisis
Learn about our Bure Valley practice
The creation of the surgery involved top to bottom redecoration, plus the installation of modern heating and lighting systems. The private car park has been upgraded and incorporates 5 marked parking bays for clients. Such a private car park in the centre of the town is quite a luxury, but we view it as essential for our clients’ convenience. The light and attractive reception and waiting areas and WC lead off to a purpose -designed consulting room. Beyond this in the clinical areas we have a prep room, operating theatre, diagnostic imaging suite (with state-of-the-art digital x-ray), lab and separate dog and cat kennels.
We provide most of the common procedures performed at Taverham Vets such as neutering, routine surgery, dental care (tooth extractions and scaling/polishing), x-rays and ultrasound examinations. More specialized and unusual procedures such as complex surgery are best done at the main hospital location in Taverham, as is the management of any animals requiring 24/7 inpatient care and observation.
Emergency care is provided by the Norwich Night-Vet service run by Taverham Vets out of the main Taverham clinic 20 minutes away. Staff are on site there 24/7.
Taverham Vets is a large veterinary group with extensive facilities, specialist equipment and many vets, nurses and support staff. This ensures we have a great deal of expertise ‘in house’ but this can occasionally be a problem when it comes to continuity of care. Taverham Vets- Bure Valley represents the best of both worlds whereby we aim to offer a more personal service in a peaceful setting but with the backup of the main hospital at Taverham.
