Our experienced and dedicated internal medicine team offers a comprehensive referral service to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions in canine and feline patients. We have a fully equipped laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasonography, CT (with specialist interpretation), and modern endoscopy equipment that enables us to undertake gastroscopy, bronchoscopy and rhinoscopy. Our Internal Medicine team work closely with our cardiac, surgical, and orthopaedic departments. We offer laparoscopic biopsy, endoscopic biopsy, and exploratory laparotomy as warranted. We are also able to stage and provide chemotherapy to patients diagnosed with cancer. From the point of diagnosis, the team will work closely with clients and referring practices with ongoing care to suit both owners and patients.
The service will accept both routine and emergency patients. Below is a list of the common internal medicine conditions that we commonly see. Please note this list is not exhaustive and we are more than happy to discuss any cases prior to referral. The team also offer a free of charge advice service for referring veterinarians. The form can be found on our website. Please note we will always try our best to reply to advice requests in a timely manner, however this will depend on case volume.
