Stephanie Ford

Steph qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in June 2024 after qualifying at Dick White Academy with a double distinction. She enjoys inpatient care with hospitalised patients. Previously to this, Steph completed an MSc. in animal behaviour at the University of Exeter. Her most recently published work assessed the change in zoo animal behaviour during COVID lockdown. Steph has also worked in mental health care and completed counselling training which helps her to empathise with clients experiencing bereavement. Steph has also worked for wildlife conservation charities and has a passion for the outdoors, wildlife and nature. When she isn't at work, she's gardening, at the gym or outdoors somewhere.
