Jen grew up in Norfolk surrounded by a menagerie of cats, dogs and the occasional horse, before studying veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College. After qualifying in 2012 she went straight into first opinion small animal practice, and has developed an ever-growing love for feline medicine and behaviour. She became an Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine in 2017 following completion of a post graduate certificate in feline veterinary studies, and is keen to complete the ANZCVS examination in Medicine of Cats to further her knowledge base. Jen still enjoys seeing other patients as well as cats, and has retained a love for surgery over the years.
Outside of work Jen can often be found with her partner enjoying the sights and scenes the Norfolk coast and Broads have to offer, as well as spending time with her partner's children, often being the photo-taker while they partake in daring physical pursuits! At home, Jen has two rescue cats who rule the roost, and she often spends time with her parent's labrador Bruce.
